Tähen Tuuri and Patrikin Muisto to Elitkampen
Suomesta ilmoitettiin 42 hevosta Elitloppet-viikonloppuun (Hevosurheilu.fi 20.5.)
A record-like number of Finnish horses have been signed to race on the great Elitloppet weekend in Solvalla, Stockholm, Sweden, 28th-29th of May. Especially interesting to me is -of course- the finnhorse stallions Tähen Tuurand Patrikin Muistoi, competing in Elitkampen on Sunday.

Finnhorse trotting championships ranking II
Kuninkuusraviranking II (Hippos.fi 20.05.2011)
Huiman Pyste has already earned over 320 000 euro. Photo: Hippola/Irina Keinänen
It's only about two months until the championships. The situation is exciting in both mares and stallions' rankings.
All the three top mares have been crowned as trotting queens before. They all have also started this season better than ever. Mares have also trotted the top km-times of all finnhorses this year, Marimin (1.22,8) as the fastest.

The finnhorse trotting championships takes place in Teivo 30th-31st of July. For more information go to www.kuninkuusravit.fi

Finnish Horse Sport Museum opened a new exhibition in Ypäjä
Hevosurheilumuseon uusi näyttely ja internetsivut julki (Hippos.fi 12.5.2011)
The new exhibition is called "100 years of Finnish horse sport". The exhibition will show an interesting walkthrough of Finnish horse sports and breeding. Both riding and harnss racing are shown.
The Horse Sport Museum is situated on Ypäjä Equine College's land, and it's open through summer on Fridays and Satrdays from 10am to 4pm and during College's major vents. Besides that, guided tours for groups are arranged if asked throughout the year.
