Finnhorse stallion Tähen Tuuri won the international cold blood race in Vincennes, Paris. Terho Rautiainen cheered eagerly for the nine-year-old stallion, which he trains and partly owns himself. Tähen Tuuri finished the 2100m race in 1.24,4. First prize 10 000 euro.

- He did well. First he was a little confused, since we drove without front shoes today. He might as well have a good race on Sunday too, said Rautiainen.

Tähen Tuuri is owned by a group of people, using the name Talli Moukan Tuuri ("Lucky Fool's Stable"). Behind the name are found, besides Rautiainen, also Aimo Nykänen, Keijo Laitinen and, Matti, Seppo and Erkki Romo. Tähen Tuuri was bred by Kyösti Hedman.

To be exactly accurate, Tähen Tuuri finished the race second, but the winner Greis Vinn was already disqualified for galloping in the last curve.

Ares R.B. was second and Vinning Tor the third. Other Finns, Veeran Turo and Hovimäki finished 6th and 7th, while Feelis was also disqualified due gallop. His trainer Aimo Vuorisalo could not fin a reason for the gallop, but he is feeling hopeful for Sunday's race.
